Why should you attend? “The Utah Crowdfunding Summit is the best, once-a-year opportunity for folks in Utah to learn the secrets of crowdfunding, make connections with like-minded entrepreneurs and experts – and have fun while doing it”, said Bryce Hansen, Assistant Director of the Utah Small Business Development Centers Network, and the man behind the event.
Crack the Crowd’s CEO, Dan Baird, will be presenting on the critical elements issuers need for their campaigns during the panel “Essential Skills for Your Rewards-Based Crowdfunding Campaign”, along with Jay Davis of Creatably.com and Eli Regalado of LaunchLab.guru.
Other panels include “How to Consistently Raise Big Money Through Crowdfunding”, “Crowdfunding for Social Good” with Your Mark on the World Center Founder Devin Thorpe, and “Crowdfunding for Accredited Investors” with Todd Crossland, Founder and CEO of Seed Equity Ventures. But that’s not all. Check out the agenda for more.
Last but not least, summit attendees will be able to take part in picking the winner of the Crowdfunding Hero Competition. Participants in the competition are eligible for a cash prize and crowdfunding consulting (Crack the Crowd has donated $1,750 in in-kind campaign consulting). If you or your company would like to participate, visit the submission site for all the rules and regulations—the last day to be considered is April 5th.
The Crack the Crowd team will be live tweeting the summit. Look for the hashtag #UCS2017 to follow the event.
